The Kia Stinger not only resembles Rafa Nadal on the court, but also off it. Because the man from Manacor is not only an expert in destroying opponents on the court… but also in taking care of his family and enjoying his free time. And there again we see how the Kia Stinger has great similarities with the one who is one of our best athletes: it has five driving modes, from Smart to drive quietly and without raising too much consumption to Sport +, designed to go out on track with everything … and without traction control. Along the way we find three other maps for the engine: ECO, comfort and sport. Each and every one of them focused on a different activity and with different degrees of radicality.
Of course, whatever mode we choose, the Kia Stinger is still a sports car. And therefore, as it burns a lot of calories (in this case, between 10 and 11 liters), it is necessary to feed it often. But of course, with 245 hp of power and all this sportiness, it is worth spending the money to feed it.

The paths to popularity are diverse, but some converge. Peugeot is also focusing on tennis and collaborates with several players (Fernando Verdasco, David Ferrer, Nicolas Almagro, Alexander Zverev…), in addition to sponsoring Roland Garros. «We want to convey the elegance of tennis as an elite sport,» says Peugeot’s Communication Director Eduardo Garcia, who also works hand in hand with fashion and trend specialist Maria de Leon.
When it comes to longer-term collaborations, there is no purely commercial interest. No direct return is expected, nor is a direct return sought. «The most important thing, apart from them having a social influence, is that they get involved with the brand, that they know the product in depth and transmit its values. We are not simply interested in the photo. Our ambassadors drive the cars and take them on a daily basis: we want them to transmit SEAT wherever they go. That is the most important thing», says Constanza Belda.
Ultimately, the return on these actions cannot be quantified, but all brands are interested in getting it right and succeeding in this area. «I have often been asked how many cars have been sold thanks to Rafa Nadal. That question is impossible to answer, but I would dare to say that many,» says Emilio Herrera, general manager of Kia.
