The works will consist of the construction, within the institute’s premises, of a new building with the appropriate facilities to house the Higher Level Training Cycles of Energy Efficiency and Solar Thermal Energy, from the Energy and Water family, and Maintenance of Thermal and Fluids Installations, from the Installations and Maintenance family. The construction works will be carried out by the company Áridos Mengíbar S.L.
Cobo explained that the new building, with a surface area of almost 570 square meters, will have a multi-purpose classroom, a technical classroom, a thermal and solar installations workshop, an electrical and automatic systems workshop, toilets and changing rooms. In addition, the outdoor space for installations will be located on the building’s walkable roof terrace.
