La Salle Virgen del Mar School has been developing since this school year initiatives to promote healthy lifestyle habits in various educational stages, through various activities in which families actively participate.
Prior to the beginning of the 2013-2014 school year, the Center programmed a Healthy Eating Program to be inserted in the General Didactic Programming of Physical Education in the entire Primary stage.
We have used educational material developed by a multidisciplinary working group, in which different hospital and primary care health professionals, education professionals and the University of Almeria have participated, and through the formation of a collaborative group between the AMPA, the Infant and Primary Teachers and the Management Team of the Center, this material has been adapted to our school environment and expanded resources and activities by integrating them into the current Project.
