The series is set in 1720, when the young Clara Belmonte, a prodigious cook as well as a cultured and independent woman, begins to work in the house of the Duke of Castamar. Intrigues, secrets, envy and romances seasoned with the captivating recipes of the cook that end up reflected in a book (recipe books already existed at that time), and a King Philip V who completely loses his mind, trace the common thread that will lead the protagonist to win the heart of the Duke and the rest of the staff in his service.
The locations of the series can be found in the provinces of Madrid, Segovia, Guadalajara or Cuenca, but we stay in Madrid to discover the main one: the palace of Infante don Luis. Those of you who have seen the episodes will perfectly recognize its pink facade, which appears in many scenes, and in it, in addition to a tour of its rooms, we can stay for dinner and enjoy a cuisine that brings aromas of Clara’s cooking.

They propose three types of escape rooms. The first, Street Gymkhana, is set in the times of the Infante Don Luis, a time when an important legacy was hidden in the then called ‘Bobadilla’. The Palace offers new opening hours for the Gardens and the orchards. Until August 31, 2020, they will be open daily from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. On working Wednesdays they will be closed for maintenance work, except for the gardens, which will be open from 18:00 hours for the restaurant service. The restaurant service offered by «La terraza del Palacio» has been open since June 2.
