The Central Independent Trade Union and Civil Servants (CSIF) denounces the «chaotic situation that has occurred over the weekend in the Emergency Department of the Hospital Virgen de la Salud de Toledo».
CSIF states that «unfortunately, this collapse is nothing new in the Virgen de la Salud: since the beginning of the pandemic and during the successive waves of coronavirus the overflow of the Service has been almost a constant due to the shortcomings in this physical space and the lack of foresight».
CSIF urgently requests the Management to provide beds in the different care units using all the resources at hand to avoid these prolonged stays of patients in the emergency department.
