When the series reached its ninth season, Charlie Harper, the character played by Charlie Sheen, was fired from the sitcom and was replaced by Ashton Kutcher, who played the role of Walden Schmidt.
Charlie also resents his mother Evelyn, a millionaire in the real estate business as she has caused him some traumas in his childhood because of her continuous divorces, together they try to solve the problems that arise in his life and educate Jake, as he is growing up and learning more about life, Charlie has to deal with his stalker neighbor, girlfriends who try to compromise him, his brother’s problems and also help educate Jake.
This season of Two and a Half Men was the second for Ashton Kutcher, who joined the cast replacing Charlie Sheen. Episode 12 «Welcome to Alancrest» was the most watched episode of this season with 15.41 million viewers[1] while episode 21 «Another Night With Neil Diamond» was the least watched of the season with 11.32 million,[2] a figure that is still good and allows them to stay on the air for one more season. In addition, a mysterious character arrives who turns out to be Jake’s girlfriend, played by Miley Cyrus.
