We discovered that carrots grow underground, just like onions. We can also see that chard leaves are almost as big as we are. And that tomatoes are green before they are red. We were surprised to discover that the peas are in a row inside a pod. On the plate, not everything appears as it does in the garden! We feel textures, smell, observe… Everything helps us to understand what is happening in our environment and how life works around us.    On our return to the classroom we used paint and brush to describe through art what we have learned and we have a beautiful exhibition in our hallway.

DAY 3 This session was divided into two parts. Firstly, the use of videos in the classroom and the second part of the training day was dedicated to teach group work techniques that allow the student to feel confident when he/she has to present in a large group.
DAY 2 In the second session of the course, we worked on how to carry out different types of activities with students in class using platforms such as Quizlet. Subsequently, a large part of the class was dedicated to explaining the flipped classroom work model, which consists of first working on the theory at home through videos and then applying the practice in class through cooperative work. As a group we assessed the benefits of using flipped classroom as well as the disadvantages. Then, once we knew the steps to follow to work with flipped classroom, we made a practice using Edpuzzle and creating on a video questions for students to work on the theory and then activities to implement the content learned in that video. We ended the training on the second day using platforms to work with concept maps such as Mindmeister or Mimind.

On the occasion of our new project «The Games», Daniel and his dad have given us a chess master class. We loved it and enjoyed a lot. Thank you very much for spending some time with us.
